This is my favorite Indian restaurant. I have been to different ones all over from Florida to Chicago to random little towns on road trips. This one has remained the top of the charts in comparison. The food is delicious, the staff is kind, and they even have a buffet. Everything was delicious. Photo is one scoop of almost everything on the buffet.
Absolutely blown away by this place. Looks like a small quiet Indian place tucked into a strip mall but I found the food to be quite exceptional and service very friendly. The owner is an amazing man who cares about the traditional food he is serving. I highly recommend to anyone wanting phenomenal Indian food.
We came into Antique Indian on a Saturday afternoon to try the lunch buffet. Let me start by saying, I’ll be reviewing this establishment again when we order off the menu; we simply wanted to try the buffet so this review is reflective of that. All of us ordered the buffet. I had goat curry, a paneer and the butter chicken for my first course. The butter chicken was good but it’d been sitting a bit and the sauce was separating some; flavor was 7/10 visually it was a 6/10. The goat curry was a 8/10 but the meat was hit/miss. The pieces in there were mostly bony but the few good pieces were excellent. The paneer was a excellent - I believe it was a tofu dish, the sauce had a pleasant heat to it and flavor was excellent 9/10 We got all you can eat Garlic Naan - it was literally the best naan we’ve ever had and we’ve had quite a bit 10/10 My second trip, I got more of the goat curry, I grabbed some chicken Manchurian and more butter chicken. All in all, this was the best Indian buffet I’ve been to. Buffets can be real hit or miss, this one was mostly a hit - I’d like to try it when it’s busy and the dishes being constantly refilled. I’d give this place a 8.5/10 but out of 5 I’ll go 5. I go 5 because I don’t want to draw it to a 4 since it’s definitely above 4.5 and 4.
I do a lot of traveling for work and for food I crave for my Indian food. You can imagine I have been to several restaurants. As of now I can say Antique Indian Bar & Grill is by far my favorite restaurant. For simple reasons, Tushar and his Uncle made us feel like family. They heard our requests and then they recommended food that I could only have got back home in India. This review is not influenced for any personal befit. I really want people to know if you are looking for genuine authentic Indian Punjabi food then Antique Bar & Grill in Milwaukee is the place for you. Harminder Sethi
Absolutely delicious food! We’ve eaten at many Indian restaurants across the world and this is one of the best! The service was also friendly and fast. It would’ve been nice to have slightly more comfortable seats and some dimmed lighting - but the atmosphere was otherwise cute and clean. Looking forward to trying more dishes - worth the drive!
Just had an unforgettable meal at Antique Indian Restaurant, and I’m still thinking about it! I ordered saag punjabi, tandoori roti, and samosa chaat — and every bite was out of this world, full of flavors and delicious.
I saw the rating and decided to stop in for some food. Their Dal Makhani is probably the best I've had. Grateful that I haven't had any bad Dal Makhani; however, the flavors definitely came through in their dish. If I lived closer, this would definitely be my spot.
Awesome Indian food!! So fresh and delicious. Many options to choose from. Service was excellent. Dishes are made to order. Can’t wait to go back for the buffet.
